That's a great excuse to go out and buy a couple of six-packs. Awareness, how come I never thought of that.

HEY! It's "Awareness" month, not "Purchasing" month, dear brother mine. THIS month you're only meant to be aware of alcohol's existence--nothing more, nothing less. And that applies to scotch, too, you know! :)

I agree with you Pete. I believe it to be entirely possible, if not mandatory, to 'purchase' alcohol and place it in one's house this special month of reflection. How better to be aware of something than have it close to home. Nobody said anything about consumption. That's not until next month.

I think Kitty would agree with that.

I'm aware that alchohol exists of course, but not in all its particular variety. Vast regions remain to be explored, and I still think awareness month should count for some new beer purchases.

How many new stouts am I still unaware of. Far too many I'm afraid.

Bear Republic's Big Bear Black Stout is one that everyone should definitely become aware of this month.

Yeah, but John broke the rules. He became aware of it, purchased it, and consumed it, all in the same day.

I'm simply apalled. I would feel betrayed, actually.

Here John wins the prize for being 'most aware' and his wife doesn't allow him the benefit of the annoucement. hummp.
